Who is getting bored of their winter wardrobe ? I know I am ! Especially, since I am from New York and we are in this in between season where its not really spring but its still cold out. That being said in this post I'm going to give some outfit inspirations and talk about how adding a new accessory or jacket to an old outfit can make it feel like a new outfit.

In this first outfit I paired a black body-con dress with a suede vest. I love the detailing on this vest. It has flattering drapery in the front of the jacket. I also like the color contrast and how it is black on the inside of the jacket and grey on the outside of the jacket. The jacket can also be worn cinched at the waist or open. This suede vest I purchased from one of my favorite boutiques, Hudson Square Boutique. Go check out some of there clothes. For 15% off of your order use my coupon code ALEXIS15. For accessories I added an envelope style clutch with alligator pattern and metal accents. The bag is a great accessory to add to almost any outfit because its fun and trendy. For shoes I paired the outfit with black booties. These shoes are so fun. I love the detailing on the heels with the grey encrusted rhinestones. These are a great statement piece and can be paired with so many different outfits they would look great with black jeans, light wash jeans, skirts etc. Overall, any of the pieces I wore in this outfit would be great items to add to current outfits you have in your wardrobe.

In this second outfit I paired a black turtleneck dress
with a suede trench coat. The trench coat has a rectangle
silhouette. I love the accents of the trench coat. The draping gives the jacket an open front design. It also has ornamental button cuffs
on the sleeves and shoulders. It has a sash belt so that you can cinch the
waist if you want to. The jacket has an open flapped collar. The texture
of the jacket is suede. The smoothness of the fabric is what causes the
garment to have a more slender appearance. The color of the trench coat is a burnt orange. The jacket has accents
of the chocolate brown which appears on the cuffed sleeves, collar, and belt.I bought this piece from Hudson Square Boutique, so definitely go check them out. This jacket would be a great piece that you could pair with a suede or denim skirt. It would also look really good paired with some black or light wash jeans and paired with either a turtleneck or a sweater.
For accessories I paired this outfit with brown leather booties. I love these booties because they are comfortable and are a great shoe if you have a lot of walking to do. I also added a leopard print, cross body bag that matched the leopard print hoop earrings. Another accessory you could add would be the black hair tie ribbon. The earrings and the bag are great statement pieces that could spice up any outfit. Adding these pieces to your wardrobe could give some of your old, drab outfits a new and trendy feel.

In this third outfit I added this Maroon colored duster jacket. This jacket has an A-line shilouette. It has a loose fit and the drapery gives the jacket an open front design. This jacket is a great piece. It is so versatile and can be styled so many different ways whether you pair it with a skirt, or jeans, a sweater, a bodysuit, etc. This jacket is a staple piece for your wardrobe. In this outfit I tried the whole color blocking trend. I paired this long sleeve, black turtleneck, crop top. This has ruffle detailing around the edge of the neckline. I also wore black, high waisted jeans. For accessories, I added a gold choker necklace and silver, double ringed black leather belt. For shoes I wore these maroon pumps.

In this third outfit I am actually wearing the same shirt and jeans and belt from the previous outfit. The new piece that I am wearing is this blush, pink, suede blazer. This jacket is so unique because it is a blazer but doesn't have that tailored look that most blazers do. This jacket has a rectangle, column shiloutte and since the texture of the jacket is suede, this affects the drapery of the jacket, which causes the jacket to have an open front design. I also got this jacket from Hudson Square Boutique. For accessories I used the same diamond encrusted, black booties from earlier in the post and I also added a black leather, structured hand bag.
