It's all about the Accessories


This summer is all about the accessories! In this post I'm going to show some of my favorite summer dresses and how to style them with different accessories. I personally feel that a whole outfit can be transformed just by adding jewelry, a handbag, and hair pieces. It can amp your outfit from blah  to giving it that wow factor.




This first dress I styled two different ways. In this first ensemble I styled this black, off the shoulder, mini dress to have more of a elegant classy look. To accessorize this outfit I added some white, strappy heels and a matching white cross body purse. For Jewelry I went very simple, diamond stud earrings and gold chain necklace with diamond charms. I thought this was the perfect amount of  sparkle to the outfit without overpowering it.  I also added a black hair ribbon to my hair, giving the outfit that chic, but sophisticated look. I feel like this outfit is Arianna Grande inspired especially because of the signature ponytail look. This outfit is perfect for a more dressy occasion and with it being summer there are lots of summer weddings and this would make the perfect outfit for that. 




     
This second ensemble I have is this black, off the shoulder mini dress, styled to be more of a causal look. I paired this dress with a pair of tan, crochet wedges and also with a tan basket material cross body purse.I liked these two pieces together because they both give me that beachy summer vibe, perfect for summer. I also added a pair of mauve colored tassel earrings to give the whole outfit that pop of color. This outfit gives me that beach vibe perfect for a waterfront restaurant, or perfect for a girls night out to a rooftop bar. You can even dress this outfit down some more by replacing the wedges with some ballet flats or sandals.

This third outfit features a fuchsia colored Knee length dress. I love this dress because of the accents of the buttons going down the side of the dress leading to a slit on the right leg. This dress is the perfect amount of classy but also sexy. For accessories I added the some strappy heels from the last outfit and the same gold chocker from the first. What really makes this outfit fun is the purse and the hair ribbon. I love this handbag first of all because white is great in the summer because it goes with everything.But I love how the bag is simple with white leather but has the big gold rings. These are super trendy right now and can also be used to carry the bag or just for looks and then you can attach a separate strap. This summer has been all about these hair ribbons as I talked about earlier, but for this outfit I added this zebra print pattern giving the outfit that chic but girly look. This outfit could honestly be worn to any occasion depending on what shoes you pair it with and accessories. You could dress this outfit up by adding some jewelry and heels and wear it to a fancy occasion like a wedding, you could dress it down with some sandals or wedges and wear it out to dinner with some friends. It can also be a great date night outfit to a fancy restaurant. You could even wear this to the office, by pairing it with a black blazer and pumps.




This next outfit features a body-con tropical patterned dress.  This outfit is just the perfect summer outfit. It makes me think of a tropical island vacation due to all the Hawaiian flowers all over it. For accessories I dabbled with this whole basket style trend. For shoes I added basket woven wedges with ribbon straps and the matching circle style, basket-patterned clutch, that can also be worn as a cross body bag. For jewelry I added a diamond dangle, chocker necklace and these half moon fan earrings. The earrings are probably my favorite part of the whole outfit. There so different and just super fun and trendy, they add just so much style to the outfit.
